Why do you want to be a tutor?
I've taught at the undergraduate level for three years, and I really love teaching. I especially like sparking a student's interest in the subject I'm teaching. There's no better feeling in the world than helping a student realize a passion for what they're learning.

Why should a student pick you?
I'm a very patient teacher, and I adapt my teaching strategies to fit each student's particular needs. My students have told me that I am very good at finding a teaching style that works for them. One of my students once told me that no one had ever been able to teach him a foreign language, but he said that I made learning Latin easy for him. I'm also very interested in the subject matter that I teach, and I always try to make learning interesting. A Psychology Major in one of my History classes became a History Major because the discussions that we had in my class were so intriguing to him.

    Personal Statement:
I'm a very knowledgeable yet patient teacher. I have 3 years of teaching at the Undergraduate level (Latin, Writing, Literature, and History courses taught), and I would be ideal for tutoring high-school and undergraduate students in Latin, Writing, Literature, Ancient History, or basic Math.
