Why do you want to be a tutor?
- As a tutor, I would be aiding the student in reaching his or her full potential. It is very rewarding to be able to demonstrate there is an abundance of things to learn and the many, many possible paths they can follow.
Why should a student pick you?
- I am a very friendly person and I love working with people of all ages. I would work hard so that the student enjoys learning and feels that it is not a chore. I am patient but also persistent, which means I am good at explaining concepts one step at a time, and also I won't stop until the student understands.
Personal Statement:
- Being a Biology major at the Universtiy of Texas at Austin, I find fascination in the world around me on all kinds of levels: molecular, chemically, and cellular to name a few. I would like to share my enthusiasm and help a student to find something fascinating for themselves. It is my belief that we should all have something about which we feel passionate. My Biology option is Microbiology and this is my third year.
